ARIZONANS DESERVE TO BE THE FIRST PRIORITY, INSTEAD OF BIG CORPORATIONS AND SPECIAL INTERESTS

Phoenix, AZ, November 19, 2019 – Believing that hard work should create opportunity for a good life, Opportunity Arizona is launching an issue advocacy campaign for policies that put money back into the pockets of hardworking Arizonans.

Opportunity Arizona will focus on policies that make government work for the people, not just the well-connected, and create more opportunities for people to earn a good life. The group will focus on serious problems like affordable healthcare including coverage of pre-existing conditions and the rising cost of prescription drugs, college affordability so the next generation has the opportunity for a quality education, corporate accountability, and paid family leave to take care of a sick loved one.

Opportunity Arizona is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization working to break through the gridlock of politics-as-usual to advocate and educate on policies that ensure our state grows in a fair way that benefits our working and middle-class, instead of favoring politicians, big corporations and special interests.
